Projects as a
freelance artist at KFIR

Danieli approached me on Tumblr in 2019 and asked me if I would be open to create anient egyptian digital paitnings for him. These paintings became a collection of studies about ancient Egypt. It created an uppertunity for me to practice scenery or even environment art. But also a opening to befriend the amazing artist and dancer from the Phantom of the Opera. Knowing we are both a big fan of Acnient egypt.

The very first job I got was to design the gate of Ramses the second. We both thought it would be a great idea to depict Ramses and his son on the gate. The birds on the walls show that these figures are protective powers and are in fact royalty. The horses show that they are heroic in their actions. So this painting definetly shows these royals in a positive light.

More projects ongoing:

One of my own works that I had made in the past I expanded into a full view of a few bathing women by the Nile. This shows how rich the Nile made it's surroundings.

This sheet shows a special part of my job, I was asked by Danieli to create a lamp where a harpist, a farmer and a maiden were depicted on. This lamp is eventually to be made into steel by a smith.

Ramses_And_The_General_edited.jpg

This painting shows a scene, this is where the queen confronts the Pharaoh. The look on the Pharaoh's face says everything about the story. You can fill in the blanks of what they are discussing. The very richness of this balcony and the building surrounding it shows this was peak ancient Egypt.

Throne_Room_V25_edited.jpg

Danieli and I were discussing what exactly should go into this throne room painting. How many people can we show here? And what kind of people. We decided to create a acnient Egyptian party scenario. It is after all about the birthday of Pharaoh Seti the first. To me the most interesting part of this painting was to study the details on ancient Egyptian musical instruments and what archeologists manage to find out about how they would play these instruments..

Nefretiris_Roomv21SMALL_edited.jpg

In 2023 of July I designed the bedroom and balcony of the crown princess Nefretiri. This scene needed to have the feeling of warm to cold (from left to right) The details tell the story of the princess and shows her riches, everywhere you look there seems to be a object made of gold.

RamsesII_Throne_Room_v21_edited.jpg

And last but not least, is the thronw room of Ramses II. Here I was asked to design this room with characters that could fit in the painting as a story for the environment. With lots of gold and glamour this enviornment shows that Ramses II was a great pharaoh with lots of influence.
